The project Tasks tab has two view modes:
- List (default) — sort by status, date, or assignee; quick filters per status.
- Kanban — drag-and-drop board grouped by status column.
You can switch between them with the toggle in the top-right of the Tasks tab. The toggle remembers your choice per project.
Tips for using Kanban effectively
- One task per card — sub-tasks aren't supported; if a task has multiple steps, split them or use the description for notes.
- WIP limit soft-enforced — Kiralytics doesn't enforce a Work-In-Progress limit, but the Kanban view's column widths encourage you to keep each column small.
- Cancelled is hidden by default — if a task moves there accidentally, toggle the "Show cancelled" filter to recover it.
The list view is better for triage (sorting, filtering, bulk actions). The Kanban is better for the moment of "what am I actually doing today?".
